Benjamin Morando is a French composer whose work spans electronic music, film scores and compositions for contemporary dance and the visual arts.
He is currently developing a personal body of work at the crossroads of acousmatic music, ambient music and ensemble composition, inspired by his research into microtonality, early music and the links between auditory and olfactory perception.
His records have taken him from the Centre Pompidou to the Palais de Tokyo or Grand Palais, from the Sónar and Mutek festivals to Berlin's Transmediale. He has shared the stage with Bernard Parmegiani, Jamie Lidell or Alva Noto and performed Terry Riley's In C at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris.
